Are you passionate about helping young people live a healthy lifestyle? Would you like to shape a student’s life by offering your support and serving as a positive role model? If so, we invite you to apply to become a mentor.

What is the role of a mentor?

A mentor is a caring adult friend who offers a young person support and guidance. Volunteer mentors in our programs assist the teacher, Registered Dietitian, certified trainer and/or intern(s) in delivering the curriculum. They help students identify individual goals and find ways to achieve them, while modeling healthy habits.


Mentoring Requirements 

1. Complete a mentor application.

2. Submit proof of TB test result conducted within six months of the program start date.

3. Attend 6 weekly 1-hour workshops.
